ARTICLES & GUIDES

Hi now I want to help clear up some of the confusion that there is with pad sizing. Here I discuss details about -“How to Properly Size Your Knee and Elbow Pads?” There are three basic things that you have to always keep in mind when sizing for your pads. Lets start now.

Step 1:

The first thing to remember is that pad sizing will almost always correlate with your actual clothing size. So for instance if you’re going to be wearing a large shirt you’re usually going to be wearing a large elbow pad and if you’re wearing say for instance small pants you’re going to usually be getting small knee pads. So it’s always the first thing to remember when purchasing them by size.

Step 2:

The second thing that you have to remember is that sizing will differ between brands. So if you are currently wearing a small of one brand don’t assume that you’ll be getting a small of the other brand. You always want to be referencing the specific brands manufacturer sizing charts and using ours is only a reference. So if available use the manufacturers which can be found on the product description page.

Step 3:

The last thing that you have to keep in mind is that the surface area protection and cap sizes may not change when going up in size or down in size a lot of times. Such as with this large and a medium the actual amount of protection stays the same and the only thing that changes with the size is the strap length or the amount of sleeve provided. You’ll know the pad fits properly when you have it strapped and it’s not cutting off circulation and also when you bend your elbow or your knee. The pad stays in place and does not slide up or down.

So, thats all How to Properly Size Your Knee and Elbow Pads. If you have get any problems don’t foget to comment on the comment box.
